A GOOD EGG!

How do you know if an egg is fresh or not?

If you put the egg in a glass of water and it sinks it is fresh.

If it floats it is not good.

Look at the picture. This egg is actually fresh so why is it floating?

This water is full of salt.

Salt makes water heavy, so heavy that things can float on top of it such as an egg!

The Dead Sea is a sea in Israel which is so salty that nothing lives in it hence the name "Dead Sea".

Lots of people visit it and love to float in the water.
