MAKING SQUEAZY PAINT!!

As part of the Paint and Colour strand of the Art Curriculum, this month third and fourth class are studying the history of colour and learning how to make our own paint!

Today we made SQUEAZY PAINT!!

For this, each group used one cup of flour, one cup of salt, one cup of water and food colouring.

We put the flour and salt into a Ziplock bag.

We added the water and mixed it all really well to get rid of any lumps.

Each group added food colouring to make a different coloured paint.

This group made green by using blue and yellow food colouring.

Green

Turquoise

Yellow

We squeazed the paint into sauce dispensers.....

....and we got to work...
