SCIENCE WEEK- Water drop Magnifier

As part of our lesson about LIGHT, we learned many new facts and new vocabulary such as bioluminescence, concave, convex, lens..
Did you know that a single drop of water can act as a lens and magnify letters and words to make them bigger? We made our very own magnifiers by laminating paper with a hole in the middle and putting a drop of water onto the clear plastic hole. We were amazed to see the letters getting bigger through the water drop lens.
